Viewing Background image problems

Background image problems

User: Gary B. 11 years ago
I am changing a website that was originally created with iWeb to EverWeb. My pages have a browser background image that imported correctly and extends to the top of the computer screen. In one page, when I copy and paste a text box from iWeb into EasyWeb, it causes my browser background image to drop down, leaving approximately 1” of white space between the top of the image and the computer screen. A different page I worked on is fine and the p[age layout settings are the same for each page. If I delete the text box , the background image returns to the top of the screen as it should be. What I I doing wrong?

To see my problem, go to "http://traa-ems.com/TRAA%20EverWeb/home.html" and compare the "Home" page to the "About Us" page. Both pages have the background image set to Original Size".

What happens if you put a text box on it and type instead of copying from iweb?
What happens on About page if you choose a different way to display the image? Stretch, scale to fit, etc.
What happens if you shorten the text box on About page?

The about page height is 1577px.

The image height is 1331px.

Since the image is vertically centered, it means that there is a gap above and below the image of (1577-1331) / 2 = 123 pixels.
