I can see it, but I cannot select it?

I have a line shape across my page. It appears in Everweb, but not in the published page. I cannot select it and I don't see anything over it. It is not in my template. How do I get to it?
The first screenshot shows it in Everweb, the second in Safari -not there?

It looks like the Footer Line. Each page has a Header and a Footer line. Some things are recommended to go into one or the other. On the Page Inspector you can set the space for either to be larger or smaller.
If you have an object on the page and want to drag it into the Header or the Footer areas, you click the box for Allow Free Dragging, then unselect it once the object is where you want it.

Hide and show the layout from the Window drop down menu or use the keyboard to do a shift + command + L.

See this page for more about layout.

Go to Window->Hide Layout. That will remove them. They show where your headers and footers are.

Hide layout is on but it is still there.

If it says Hide Layout under the Window then you should select that so that. Then it will say Show Layout under the Window menu and the lines will be gone.
