Creating sub-directories

User: Anne S. 11 years ago
I have tried to create subdirectories according to the directions in the tutorial, and am have absolutely no success. The 'folder' document comes down always named "home" (I used blank pages to create my site). Then the subdirectory appears under that 'home' folder with no relationship to the heading I want the menu under. I am running OS X Yosemite on my Mac and purchased EverWeb to replace iWeb--could you help me, please?

Create Directory and name it. Make sure Directory is highlighted and create the pages for it.
Any Pages or Directories will be inserted directly under the page/directory you are on (highlighted in left list).
Click on Page or Directory where you want the Sub-D to be and create Directory and name it. If named similar to what you named the Parent Directory it has the relationship you want when you look at Navigation Widget/Menu.
Every new Page/Directory is named Home to begin with.
For instance if you sold things by color, you could have a Directory named Red-Stuff, then sub-directories of Red-Balls, Red-Balloons, Red-cars; each containing the pages pertaining to those items.
Hope this helps.
