The Responsive Header widget will allow the insertion of a full width, responsive header background and has the option for using a color gradient with variable angle.

I have added a resonsive sticky header widget and, by request, a responsive sticky footer one. When used in EverWeb V1.8, the content inserted in the page content area stays centered while other objects can be fixed in the "moving area" using the new function in the Metrics inspector. In the demo page I have inserted a moving logo in the header and a search box in the footer to illustrate this.
