If you have built any kind of website post it here so we can see how people are using EasyWeb.

We would really like to see what people have created with EasyWeb...

This is just a rough outline really. I have recently been buried in projects.

http://jeffnitschke.com/new_school/

Just noticed now that it's published:

in EasyWeb the page scrolls over the background but, remains stationary when published:

Which one were you aiming for - the one in EasyWeb or the published version?

I think the EasyWeb variant looks better.

I use query backstretch for this kind of thing. I just tried it in EasyWeb and hit a couple of bugs and then complicated the whole thing by trying to incorporate my wind turbine!

The background image is slightly slow to load as it is on another server...

http://patty.ragesw.com/~roddycom/windmill.html

You can create background sliders too. I haven't tried it with EW but this is done with Rage's WebDesign app...

http://www.ezmacwebdesign.com/Demo/background-slider/fade.html

Some more stuff done in EW can be seen here...

http://patty.ragesw.com/~roddycom/index.html

I haven't actually built a site yet as I am waiting for the assets/ewExternalFiles feature to be sorted out before I get down to it.

Jeff, Did your New_School take long to create? Perfect template for my plans.

Roddy, great pic ... Graphic, if it helps for future i found the slide show took 28sec to download (6.7Kbps on iPhone5).

Jeff, I know you are a fan of Wow slider. I forgot about it as its not in the menu of the site I linked to above.

Here it is in EasyWeb...

http://patty.ragesw.com/~roddycom/wow-slider.html

... and a custom version of Galleria which, by the way, doesn't require a license to get rid of the branding like Wow does...

http://patty.ragesw.com/~roddycom/galleria.html

In this version, I have customized the carousel and added a few functions beyond the basics. Its displayed in an iframe just now as I want to add the assets to EW eventually when this function is available. Note that, according to my text, the slider is in a firame and not an actual iframe!

I wouldn't attempt to put his kind of feature in a site for mobile devices

I have spent the last two years designing responsive sites. When you come to do it, you should be prepared to throw just about all your web design knowledge out the window. Its a completely different ball game!

This is my own site...

http://mobile.ezmacwebdesign.com/

... which illustrates some of the required features for responsive mobile designs.

I recently did a demo based on Toast as I think this is the kind of template that would be good in EasyWeb for responsive designs. You can see how easy it is to get different layouts just by adding different combinations of units. Drag the browser down in width to see the action and the mobile version of the navigation...

http://ezmacwebdesign.com/Demo/toast/demo.html

Its really easy and I'm walking a client through adding her own content at the moment. She has virtually no experience with web design and has picked up all she needs to know about HTML5 in a couple of hours.

Jeff, you can overwrite the EW CSS by adding your own to the site wide or page head code box. Use this to fix the background image.

Remember that what you see in EasyWeb at the moment is not necessarily what you will get in the published version!

This is our temporary site until we launch the organization. It is one page and simple but I thought I would stick it on this thread. I have uploaded the full site to test it out and pulled it down. I am very pleased with Easyweb so far.

Jeff, would you mind if I used the principle of your 'new_school' layout as I develop mine? (Coloured boxes in a row).
Many Thanks
