Renaming Pictures in Assets window

According to the SEO tutorial that deals with picture names in the "Assets" window, the narrator talks about and shows renaming pictures in that window. Unfortunately, it only renames them in the Assets window. If you click on the eye to the right of the name, the picture still comes up with the old name. Also, it doesn't change the pictures name in the associated image directory when published. Anyone know why this is happening? Thank you, Oliver |

Maybe a couple things, I am not sure. For me, it changed in Assets window and when I clicked on the image, then clicked to choose a new image to insert, the new name was there. I found it odd that I did not need to Save it myself for it to stay changed. Is it changed when you quit and restarted? Not sure about image directory, maybe need to rename yourself; or it could be like other EW things that need a restart to set what has been saved. In the video, he mentions it is better to rename the image outside EW and drop it back into the Assets. Perhaps this is the reason? |

| I tried the restart thing as I have found that to worked in other cases, but didn't work here. Maybe because I have already used the picture in a page that it has locked in a name. But then it shouldn't fool me into believing the name has change when it really hasn't. | |

| If you have not done it yet, try reinserting the image where it already is. If somewhere that has a Choose button, put the newly named image and see if the directory changes at that point | |
