Is it normal that everytime when I publish my site into my FTP Server, that the whole site is uploading from zero all files? Sometimes I just add some f.e. little changes or new files and it take so much time. I dont't understand why it always starts to upload External folder from new. I want it just to upload my new files not the unchanged files.. Isn't there a way to solve this? If you ask which version I'm using - its 1.7.3 |

When you publish do you see when it says skipping file under the publishing settings screen?

| Im not sure what you mean, if I click on the upload icon on the bottom it starts to upload. Everything works well its just the repeat of upload of the same files which take so much time. Im searching a result, where i can publish only new files or new changes since my last upload. It can't be so that i have to wait one hour if I only add one file and upload it, this is the point. The upload button have to recognize the uploaded files in the past on my FTP Server FileZilla and it just have to upload the new changes or new added files, images, etc. Is this possible on EW? | |

EverWeb does a one way sync. It only uploads CHANGED files but it makes sure all files on your server exist. So if you watch the upload progress you will see it says "Skipping file..." if the file doesn't have to be published. It could be that your FTP server doesn't properly return the correct details so EverWeb can't properly check all files, but I cannot be sure. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| To see what Paul is talking about with seeing what is happening, click on your site name on left panel and watch that screen when you click Publish. It tells you what it is skipping and what it is publishing. | |
