Duplicate Site

There doesn't seem to be any way to duplicate a site - at least not one that's 100% successful. I tried duplicating a project file and rename this duplicate in the projects window. It seemed to work for a while with the two sites maintaining their separate identities. After publishing, both sites reverted to the same content - i.e. that of the original site. There doesn't appear to be a way to change the ID of a project file to one that is recognizable by EW. Duplicating a site is pretty much essential when your site grows and you need to divide it into sub sites. Its a lot quicker than rebuilding or launching two versions of the app and copying and pasting from one to the other. Also, running two versions of an app is not recommended - especially for beginners. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! It is one of these techniques that was used in iWeb to do stuff that the app was really designed for so I don't know if it is appropriate when the vast majority of people probably only build one site and not too many get to creating 100+ pages. I was just trying it out to see if it could be done so I wouldn't put too much priority on this unless anybody else is chomping at the bit to do it! ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! @Dan: Roddy was talking about duplicating an entire site. You can duplicate a single page in EasyWeb.
