1.7.3 - doesn't recognize HTML snippets for my lines

I need to change my lines which are made with html snippets and after upgrading to 1.7.3, they don't recognize. The metrics are greyed out. And clicking Settings shows nothing. See attached photo.

Okay I can select these snippets now. I quit and relaunched before and I still couldn't. But now I can. Go figure. Edit, days later: It's actually still hit and miss. I used to be able to drag the cursor over the line and select it that way. That doesn't get me into the metrics anymore. Maybe it's because the snippet width is so small (4px). Now I have to click straight on, which often takes a few tries.
