Viewing TCP Error 22

TCP Error 22

User: Guest 10 years ago
Have finally figured out how to publish but now I'm getting a TCP Error 22 -- Connection Lost. Has this happened to anyone else? The data is correct. No matter what I do, I get the same error message every time I click browse to make sure the connection works.

Hi Cristina,

I responded to your support email.

You mentioned you weren't using EasyWeb to publish your site and that these are iWeb sites. If you are using iWeb, please only post EasyWeb related questions and we will help you through our support system with iWeb.

I don't want to use iWeb, which is why I was looking for a place to enter the FTP info in EasyWeb. However, I was told that I'm supposed to use iWeb to enter the FTP configuration. Is that wrong? The website was constructed solely with EasyWeb. I'm following the video links that Rage has emailed me for guidance. Screenshots coming. :)

Hi Cristina,

Sorry for the confusion

You don't use iWeb for anything anymore, or iWeb SEO Tool. Just EasyWeb. I think you are confused with the instructions.

I sent you an email to see if your IP has been banned from the server for too many connections.

Other than that, ONLY use EasyWeb to publish your site. EasyWeb does not need your FTP settings, just your account email and password, the one you used when you signed up for web hosting.

Once you are signed in to EasyWeb you click the Publish button in the toolbar to publish your site.
