Hi I have made the plunge and purchased this tool and it's a nice addition to my development tools. My question on the blog is this, I know you are working on a facility however will we be forced to host with you to use this feature? Most mainstream development software allows you to host this on your own host for example Serif WebPlus. I would love to use this as my main tool and ditch the Windows based dev tools... Finally is a date set for this enhancement? it seems people are crying out for this to be added as an option and would make this a good one size fits all tool. Last edit 9 years ago |

| I too would love to get a blogging feature….the iWeb blog feature has no tagging or alt tagging capability, EverWeb's system to use directories is really time consuming. I don't know how WordPress ever became the de facto thing for blogging !!! It's ridiculous. My wish list……..create a blog page….add hash tags…alt tags…and be able tot replicate the posts to other social media sites. I have two separate photographic companies, Face book , LinkedIn,Google Plus,YOuTube, Pinterest etc etc etc for each company. I never go out any more, I'm so busy trying to up my profile on social media that I haven't seen anyone for three weeks……help….please…c'mon….. | |

It sounds like you need two different kinds of help. You haven't seen a live person in three weeks?? Go grab a coffee. At least you can talk to the barista. ;)

Blogging seems to be a very important feature for many users (me too). Paul has said they are working on it. I can understand not wanting to put a date on delivering that feature. It's definitely a very much needed feature at the moment and it would be nice to hear some updates on this, at least in terms of how the development effort is going on it and what kinds of battles they're fighting to get it implemented.

We're working as fast as we can on it. I truly do apologize for the wait, one of the biggest hurdles we are waiting on is a third party developer to finish up some important code for us.

| i am ready to make a purchase of this fantastic iWeb replacement BUT i won't buy it until there is a blogging template. i have tried about 4 web building programs and this is definitely the best EXCEPT there is no blogging feature which is a huge negative. a deal breaker. i know there are work arounds but they are so tedious. when will the blogging feature be released? thanks | |
