Viewing Mysterious Blue Lines

Mysterious Blue Lines

I know that there are blue lines to indicate the header and footer. I know how to move text and images, etc. from the main portion to the header or footer (using the Command key). What I can't figure out is why mysterious blue lines appear sometimes when I paste something in from another page. For example, I wanted to make a new master page and copy something from the footer of another page. When I pasted the item in, instead of it either going into the footer or going into the main section so that I could move it to the footer, it made a new huge blue box, also making the page twice as long as it had been. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the blue box, and deleted many pages trying to get the paste to work without the blue box appearing, but to no avail.

Now I have a mysterious blue box showing up on a master page, in the main section of it. I had made a vertically long text box on a regular page (not a master page), but even after deleting that text box, there is still a blue line box similar in size to the text box...AND it also appears on the master page, even though I never put the text box on the master page! The blue box remains stationary on the page even when I scroll down to the bottom of the page. Scroll up, scroll down, the blue box never moves. Why do these mysterious blue boxes keep showing up? How can I get rid of them when they do?

Apparently it was a glitch. I shut down EverWeb completely, restarted it, and the blue lines disappeared. However, it has made me afraid to try pasting something from another page.

Could it be that you were copying something that is several layers deep? Like a shape with text and links on top of it?
