| From the looks of things, the Pinterest widget appears to be for sharing a picture that is already on Pinterest? Is that correct? How about a widget that makes the upload to Pinterest button for website visitors? That would be more useful. But maybe I'm misunderstanding it. | |

| There is no widget to allow the user to upload the image to Pinterest. If a user wants to do that, they would need to have the Pin It java script in their toolbar in their web browser. The widget for the Pin It button allows the webmaster to give users an opportunity to re-pin essentially. This is kind of like a popularity contents where the more pins an image has, the more likely it is to be seen be other users browsing Pinterest. This in turn can bring some extra traffic to a site. | |
