I use a Macbook Pro to build my EW site. Most of the time it is connected via a mini-dvi to HDMI on a second, larger monitor. I always run EW on this extended monitor but for some reason when I disconnect the mini-DVI cable (when I am working on the road) I can't open EW on my laptop screen. This has always been an issue. If I connect the second screen it opens no problem. I am currently staying in a hotel with just the laptop and I can't open my EW site on my laptop... Any ideas? This has been an issue for as long as I can remember. Yosemite, Mavericks... it's always been the same. Last edit 11 years ago |

Hey, I had a crash similar to this issue. I opened a ticket for it. I usually work with my rMBP plugged into a thunderbolt display via TB. I disconnected to go portable and when I opened EW, it crashed. If it's the same thing, I'm pretty sure Paul's looking into it.

You just need to go to the Window menu and select 'Zoom' and it will bring up the window on your laptop. @Chris: this is actually a different issue than yours. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
