Footer of Master Page not loading in some sub-directory pages

I have 4 sub directory pages. Unlike the rest of my site the footer does not appear when published on 3 of the 4 pages, but it does on the Everweb platform. As well as that, on two of these 3 pages, I have tried to add text and links at the side of the main body of text (its a blog). Whenever I try to publish the site, certain text and links do not appear. I have checked the links and they are correct. I have manually typed the text and still it does not appear. However when I change both the main body of the text and the links and side text that are publishing ok, the changes do happen to those items, but not to the other text and links I want to add. I then tried adding some new text in a new text box and it also does not publish, so it would seem I cannot update or add to the site unless it is in an already existing text box/link that was published successfully before. I have saved it, published just site changes, published the entire sight all multiple times, and cleared my cache and restarted firefox and safari. Still the same problems. Any suggestions? |

Do you have HTML Snippets on your page? If you have incorrect HTML in there it could cause problems like these. Please post your website URL so I can take a look, or ensure that your HTML code in your HTML Snippets is correct.

At the bottom of these pages you have Amazon Ad <iframe> code. It is not closed properly. It should have </iframe> at the end. <iframe lots of code></iframe> |

I have tried closing those that are not, but it has made no difference. It also doesn't explain why the text I'm trying to add in separate text boxes is not showing. |

| Actually now I cannot seem to add any code of any type to a new directory page. I just finished a new blog page and tried to add some code. The HTML snippet just freezes in 'Generating Preview' and I cannot 'apply' any code at all. What's that about? | |

You will see several posts about this in the forum. The only solution at the moment is to save and then quit EverWeb. Relaunch the app and snippets should work OK. Sometimes you need to adjust an item in the widget settings to get a previously "frozen" widget to update after relaunching. I usually grab a drag handle, adjust it slightly and then do a command z to undo the change which forces the widget to update. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
