RSS Widgets With No Pictures Not Showing in 1.7 After Publishing

An rss widget I had linked to one of my blogs is not showing in version 1.7. IT will show in EverWeb, but not after previewing in a web browser. I am thinking it could have something to do with it being set to show images even though the recent post on the blog did not contain pictures.
