| I would like to suggest that bug-fixes and new features should be released separately. I have a standalone license but would still like to receive bug-fixes for the 1.x version even after my 1-year right to updates expires. That would be fair imho. | |

Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately licensing and development would be too difficult to support this at this time. We do offer many free updates within the one year period and do believe we offer a fair very value for the cost of an EverWeb license. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I do agree, everweb is good value for money. My point still stands i think. It would only be fair to let the customers receive bug-fixes. It would for example be heart breaking if a bug that particularly annoys you is fixed outside your support period. After all, you pay for something expecting it to work flawlessly :) But I could understand if the way a company handles versioning and releases makes it hard to separate bug-fixes from new features. I'm just saying there is no drawback to supplying bug corrections during the whole general version of the program. You wouldn't loose money, you would gain a more loyal customers. Thanks for your answer tho, cheers! |
