Like the one shown on the home page here: http://www.skipperaclipper.com.au/

Also, doesn't have any kind of pager dots or black (loading?) line which appears at the bottom of the 'FX Slider Widget' from Everwebcodebox. The 'FX Slider Widget' would be perfect for my needs if a) it were responsive and b) if it didn't have the black line which appears at the bottom of the images.

Would love to find one that fits the bill!

Thanks in advance.

All the EverWeb Widgetbox slideshows and carousels are responsive. It is this responsive action which allows the user to adjust the slider size on the application design canvas.

At this time, EverWeb cannot create a dynamic width website so, as soon as the slider is inserted into the page, it is placed in a fixed width div and becomes unresponsive. The only way to have a responsive slideshow is to launch it in the browser background so that the user can adjust the browser width. Note that this is not the same as fullscreen.

The Swipe Gallery is an example of the above. It contains the image size to that of the original image rather than use the CSS max-width selector.

The FX Slider was include due the fact that it has a large choice of slide transitions. The widget controls include a checkbox for removing the pager dots. The black line that appears at the bottom is the slide up caption container. If you want a version of the slider without the facility for adding these captions you can contact me.

I would like to know how to create an image banner like on http://www.skipperaclipper.com.au that is responsive like the 'Background Slider' widget (already purchased), but has the transition effects of the 'FX Slider' widget (also already purchased), but also doesn't have the black bar at the bottom for captions and doesn't have the pager dots. Thanks. Or if you can tell me what to change in the code after the website has already been published which would make it work like the banner I'm looking for, that would also suffice. I know it's possible, because the 'Background Slider' widget already does it, but I want it to be a banner, not a background. If you create a widget that specifically has this function, I will purchase it from you right now. I have also emailed you via the contact link you provided.

I looked at the source of the page.

Saw these words : "REVOLUTION SLIDER".

Did this :

http://www.google.com/search?q=revolution+slider

Found this :

http://themepunch.com/revolution/jquery

Being the curious kind, I did this :

http://www.google.com/search?q=image+slider

Also remembered this :

And this :

@ SteveM I haven't received an email from you.

To have a responsive slider you need to insert it in a responsive page. Here's an example of the FX Slider modified to get rid of the caption on a page with 100% width container div which has a maximum width set to limit the slider size at the upper end.

Creating this page is really easy since there are very few components and no media queries to deal with. Upload the files to the server and then link to it from a standard EverWeb page using a text or image hyperlink. The close button is a hyperlink to return the visitor to the original page. Alternatively, the slider page can be opened in a new window.

Freakin' Awesome. I'm going to research both responses to solve my issue. Thanks Jumbo T and Roddy from Everwebcodebox. Without you guys on the forums, EverWeb would be a nightmare to figure out! But it's such a versatile program. Thanks!
