IS THERE AN IMAGE SLIDER WIDGET THAT IS BOTH RESPONSIVE, HAS TRANSITIONS AND DOESN'T HAVE TO BE FULL SCREEN TO WORK...

Like the one shown on the home page here: http://www.skipperaclipper.com.au/

Also, doesn't have any kind of pager dots or black (loading?) line which appears at the bottom of the 'FX Slider Widget' from Everwebcodebox. The 'FX Slider Widget' would be perfect for my needs if a) it were responsive and b) if it didn't have the black line which appears at the bottom of the images.

Would love to find one that fits the bill!

Thanks in advance.

The FX Slider, like most slideshows, is responsive. The problem is that the page it is inserted into is not.

The actual web page design needs to be responsive - or at least have dynamic width - before you can have a responsive slideshow. If you want the visitor to be able to adjust the image size you need to make the slideshow fill the browser width - not the screen.

The Swipe Gallery is an example of a responsive slideshow where the maximum width is limited by the actual image width. Launch one of the slideshows from a thumbnail and adjust the browser width when viewing the different sized images to see the responsive action.

The FX Slider is also responsive and has a checkbox for removing the pager dots. This slider is designed to have image captions. If you don't insert a caption, the caption background (black line) is still there. If anyone wants a version of this slider for use without captions, all they have to do is contact me.
