Did you deselect the U in the Hyperlinks inspector?

| Same problem I am almost done undoing. Can I use the find and replace function. I have changed preferences. Sure would love to change all the rest in one stroke! I'll live if not possible! | |

I didn't have that problem at all but I had already set up hyperlink styles in the default settings menu before I opened the site in V1.7b - if that makes any difference? It really isn't wise to open one of your production sites in a beta. Thanks for advise. Publishing with EW is making great strides. Roddy, do you do any consulting work? As my site becomes complete I would love for an expert to look at my site and make suggestions for possible changes in construction. Paid of course

Did you have the default link styles set up in V1.6 with no underline before you opened the site in V1.7beta?

| Hi Roddy, yes the styling to have no underline was set up in 1.6. I have it only with an external link so far, but will check further to see if there is a pattern here... | |

| the underlining also seems to appear with pages that are internal too as well as external links... | |
