https sites and 1.7 beta

Is there anything I need to do other than "upload entire site" to get the https to work correctly? It still doesn't seem to show up even if I force https into the link

That link works OK for me however, your certificate is not valid after Friday, October 30, 2015 2:42:59 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

There's not much point in using SSL when your website has lots of insecure links. Those to Google fonts and another source are loading insecure content and your contact page has a whole bunch of warnings…

Thanks for taking the time to check that out Roddy, I was under the impression that those warnings had something to do with EW, which is what they were fixing in 1.7? Sorry for my lack of knowledge with all this stuff.

What "they" have done in 1.7 is to set up the link to jQuery - which we are forced to have on every page - so that it can be created as https if necessary. The result is that the rest of us are screwed for testing our sites locally and in the iOS simulator since this has broken the link to jQuery and all our widgets that use it won't work!

Having looked at your site, I am wondering why you are wanting to secure it all? Why not just the client area?

I haven't noticed anybody else in the forum posting about SSL so I wouldn't imagine that there are too many users who actually need all their website content encrypted.
