Shapes not publishing as designed

I'm using the previous, non-Yosemite version. Still having trouble with a shape for my mobile site that keeps showing up white when it should be red. I've deleted it. Published. And even added it again from scratch. Still get the same results. Here is the link. Funny enough, the Preview works. Just not when published.

There is no red shape image uploaded to the server and the shape_9.png (white) is still being referenced. You obviously haven't uploaded the files correctly.

Why are you using shape images on a mobile site anyway?

You also have two broken links to Google hosted fonts on that page. Again Google fonts should be avoided on a smart phone website.

Well then EW isn't publishing the red shape when I Publish changes or hit the Publish button.

As for the shape, I thought EW converted shapes created to html and css. This isn't a png that I've imported. It's a rectangle shape with gradient.

Thanks for the note about the Google fonts. I thought one was at least acceptable though. None of the web safe fonts give me a good condensed look offered by Google's Open Sans.

The shape is created by an image - shape_9.png - which is repeated on the x-axis.

You should look into hosting your own fonts if you want to use them on a mobile site. Every request from another server slows download and uses up your visitor's data allowance - more so than unnecessary image downloads (shape images) from your own.

I am not sure if you got this figured out or not, but this is what I found the other night. When I published I noticed that .png were being published, except I have no .png files attached to that site. So I got out my SiteSucker app and ran it on my site and noticed this: When using the Shapes provided by EW they publish as .png. When using the Shapes widget by Roddy they publish as html/css.
That may not be entirely correct, but appears that way to me.
I hope this helps someone.

Hi Jim. Thanks for the update. Yeah, everything's working fine for me now. Hope that continues.
