Viewing V1.7beta Page Icons

V1.7beta Page Icons

The tiny blue dots that indicate that a page has been updated are a poor substitute for the icon turning red. Try fast scrolling through a 200 page site how easy it is to miss them!

The changes in the user interface in general are not positive. The icons are cheap looking and harder to find and the overall increase in brightness is hard on the eyes when using the application over a period of time.

Ditto on the small pale blue dots. I like how bold the page name changes before saving – at first, but move off that page and the boldness fades to too close to those saved.

Do we actually need the page icon at all? Why not just have your list of page names down the left hand side, as is. When you change a page you get a dot by the page name (where the page icon is now) to indicate it's changed state. That way it's easy to pick out if you have lots of pages... And yes James The bold is nice but it should stay just as bold when you move off it and not fade out imho

There have been some changes to this for the next beta.

I've been working with the latest v1.7 - still not 100% about the icons... on my screen I have problems with the red/dark grey looking quite similar (I'm blue-purple colour blind which does not help me!), so the grey would be better if it was lighter or if the page icon was just solid not as it is now with lines. Oh, the blue dot is still there on a changed page which is just confusing ... thanks!
