Change of functionality for the Insert Hyperlink menu option

The menu option Insert> Hyperlinks works in a rather strange way. You can only use it when you are in a text box so you cannot use it if you want to use this menu function on a shape. You have to use the Inspector for that. The options that are available are a bit strange too... the menu tells you that you can link to a web page, an email address or a file. But not to one of your own pages. If you link to a web page then you get referred to the Inspector. Same if you want to link to an email address. If you link to a file, you get a window to select your file. In this case you are the Inspector is bypassed. It's inconsistent in approach and linking to a file this way means that you do not see automatically that you have options to change the link colors. Thanks for listening as always Simon |
