FTP and EverWeb

How well does EverWeb support FTP? I currently use iWeb and must publish to my hosting provider using CyberDuck which is slow and cumbersome. I would like to be able to work in EverWeb changing a few things on the web site and then select Publish and have my changes published directly to my host provider via FTP from within EverWeb. I found this video that implies it will work exactly as I would like: http://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/how-to-publish-a-site.html However, I found other links that say I would have to publish to a folder and then use an FTP client to push things to my hosting provider. Can someone clarify before I spent $80 for the software? |

EverWeb has three publishing options - to a local folder, to the EverWeb server and an FTP server - so you can publish to your choice of server direct from the application using the last one.

Are there directions somewhere for publishing to my FTP server? Specifically, what are you looking for in the field that says Server? | |

Server Address can be entered as “ftp.domainname.com” or you can enter the IP number. There's a video tutorial here… http://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/how-to-publish-a-site.html ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
