I've set up Everweb to upload to an FTP sever. When I select 'Publish to FTP Server' it starts the upload and a box opens saying it will publish in the background and will tell me when it's done. How do I tell how far along the upload is? When downloading a file to a Mac. there's a 'progress bar'. When uploading via an FTP client there's a 'progress bar'. ,,, so, is there any way to tell how far along your upload is or some method to tell you how long it will take in Everweb when uploading via FTP? I have no idea if it's even working. |

Yes, there is a progress bar in the Publishing Settings Screen (where you entered your FTP details) and next to the Site Name in the upper left corner of your screen. If you don't see these, there may have been an error when publishing. Check the Publishing Settings Screen to see if there was an error. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Looks like I had the configuration wrong. I even got permantly locked out as the server thought someone was up to no good. In getting it unlocked I was told it was almost right but every time I tried it with anything wrong it counted against me toward a lockout. I think I need to be more careful and make sure the boxes are filled in correctly, or at least only try a couple of times and then give it a breal for a while. Thanks for your very fast response. |
