Hello, I have figured out that for FB sharing, i can add <meta property="og:image" content="http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/1F7DKyFt5pY/default.jpg" /> where the " " contains the relative path of the asset in the header. This works well and when I share FB pulls the correct image into the thumbnail. I can't do this with Google. I have tried: <meta itemprop="image" content="http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/1F7DKyFt5pY/default.jpg" /> in the header but it does not seem to work. My work around is to add an HTML snippet from flickr and then google picks that picture. But not everything i want on my blog is in my flickr account. Please help, Thanks |
