Problems with website

User: Joel D. 9 years ago
Hello,

My website was looking great in Everweb and safari preview.
However, I published it to the web and the text is now it's all over the place, over lapping etc.

Can anybody explain or help me?

Thanks for your help,

Joel

You didn't upload the textstyles.css to the ew_css folder on the server.

Hi Roddy,

Thank you very much.
Sorry to be a pain but how do I do this?

Thanks a lot for your time. Much appreciated.

Joel.

The page you're showing here doesn't come up when I click on (workshops). Did you paste this test on to the page that seldom works properly.
I would try entering the text manually not using any modifiers...

Hi.
I did, I copied it from the previous website and pasted it in and then reformatted the text.
Thanks a lot.

Yeah... I've tried that before!
If you have a lot of text to move, use Textedit as the middle man! Copy the text from your old site, paste it into textedit than select it, than choose to make it (plain text) think it's under the Format drop down, than copy that text and paste it into EW...
Should work!

Publish the whole website again and this should upload the ew_css folder along with all the rest.

@ Steve - I think you probably now hold the record for the number of duplicate posts!

What the Hell! That's what I get for using (cmd R) thinking I'm just refreshing! Wish this forum app didn't do that!
I'll attempt to delete them! : /
