Image problems!

User: Martin B. 11 years ago
Hi,

If I edit an image (photoshop) how do I 'update' it without having to drag it back on to the page and position it again..? Seems a bit silly not to have it automatically update (file name and location are the same).

Also, I've noticed if I do edit an image (photoshop) the file in the Media panel stays as the old file, even if I 'reload' the folder it stays the same. If I use quick look, the preview I see (new) isn't the same when the image is dragged in to the main window (old).

Thanks

You can go to the inspector and select shape settings and change it under fill options.

When you add an image to EverWeb it is copied into the project so the original is no longer referenced. If we didn't do this, sharing projects would not be possible.

On possible solution, which we don't really support and don't recommend is it do a quick look on the image in the assets list, select open in preview, command click in the title bar to reveal the file in the finder and edit the image from there.

Make sure you back up your project file as we can't help you recover from an issues if you do something wrong.
