A forum on Everweb?

User: dan y 11 years ago
I'm setting up a community forum for my website. There are a lot of options out there but this simple forum for Everweb is really nice with a very clean look. I have no idea what software this forum is but is it possible to integrate this Everweb forum format into an Everweb website?

A forum such as this one is database driven, and since EverWeb is not, you would either need to setup the forum outside of EverWeb and then link to it from your EverWeb site, or you could embed a forum on your website in EverWeb. We have released this video tutorial showing you how to embed a forum created using Nabble.com

Remember to increase the length of this Snippet as more posts get added to your forum.

Does Nabble have a feature that enables the Administrator to review a forum message before it is allowed to be posted up in the forum?

Not that I know of. People who post in forums need instant gratification.
Users need to see their post immediately - and get a reply as quick as possible - or they will lose interest.

Thanks. Then could we do a workaround such that the posting goes to a holding area that can only be accessed by the administrator, who can then post it into the forum if he allows it. This is to prevent abusive posting. Users will not mind some delay as they would be asking questions or getting info from the administrator who is an instructor. Does EverWeb have a widget that can do this simply?

If you use Disqus you can monitor comments before they are published.
