Hi I open up a project and notice that the sidebar on the left needs to show more of the names of my web pages. I adjust the width of the sidebar using the mouse. I save and close the project. I open another project and find that the width change on the sidebar of the last project is inherited in the project i have just opened. I adjust the width of this, second, project, save and close. Open a different project and the sidebar width I just adjusted on the last project is inherited by this newly opened project... |

This is exactly the behavior I want with any application! I don't want to be constantly adjusting the application window for different projects but I realise that everybody's needs are different in this respect. The size of my monitor allows me to have the application window with both sidebars open leaving enough room for a dock on both the left and right hand edges of the screen and some space to access a few temporary files/folders on the desktop without having to move anything around. I seldom use the fonts window so the only aggravation to me is that darned color window. To avoid using it, I have the ColorWIndow application in one of my docks so that I can launch it when required and get rid of it completely when I don't need it. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! If you fiddle with the sidebar size the program is assuming that's how you want it. ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |

Hi may I have not explained it well enough... first open a project. I see the names of my pages, some are long, as they are in two different languages...![]() OK, close the project, open up a different project. The names of each web pages are short. As I am dealing with photos here I want the screen real estate. so... ![]() I reduce the margin, so that i have more working area... ![]() All done, close this project and go back to my first project ![]() I have to resize the margin to see the web page names I have created as the last resizing on the previous project now impacts this one, which I don't think it should do. Prior to RC1 and RC2 of 1.6 I could change the margin either wide or not and it would be saved in the individual project and not used when I open another project afterwards. Should it not the behaviour be the same in 1.6? |

| The behaviour remains the same in the 1283 build of 1.6, so for each site created I have to keep adjust the view of each project when I open them if I want to see the full names of may web pages and master pages. This does not happen in 1.5 or earlier versions of EW. | |
