Changed links not working...

Using the beta 1.6b4 1275. I have changed some of my links... one was a link from a text box menu item 'contact' which originally would take you to your email editor. I changed this link so that instead of launching the email editor it would go to a (newly created) page with a contact form embedded in it. When I publish, the changes are not shown on the web site. I have cleared the web caches in Safari (latest version of Safari) and the next step I will take is to check server side to see what is happening there... I think Courtney reported something similar earlier with this beta? Not sure.... (Still love the vertical menus LOL) I will update this post as I get time to investigate more... any thoughts from the ether welcome Simon |

An update. It looks as if the html page is updated and published properly... but it looks as if the link contains the new direction i.e. the page I want it to go to, but also the old part (the directing to the email editor) which overrides the new... Sorry not an HTML expert but it looks like the old and new code are in the div style for the menu option which is may be the cause of the problem... |

| I haver removed the text box with the link and have reinserted it in to the master page. This works and the link is now active! Great! The only problem now is that the contact form itself does not display! Any ideas? I have reset Safari (7.0.6) with no effect. I have changed the size of the contact form on the page (I have used the built in widget) and republished but to no effect... | |

You haven't inserted a contact form - that's why it's no seen! Looking at the source code of the page there is no sign of the HTML, CSS and Javascript for the contact form.

You may want to increase the width of the menu object : |

And when I'm here : http://wellnl.com/nl-home-page.html the links link to the English pages. Then you have to click the NL flag again. And look at this :

Thanks Jumbo, I will try that although I have another contact form that is similar to this and it works OK.. :( No worries about the English-Dutch pages swapping out to different languages at this time. Getting the thing bi-lingual will take time, but thanks! :) |

Are you still using V1.6 beta? Have you tried creating the form in V1.5 to see if there is a bug in 1.6 that is causing this distressing behavior?

| thanks for the suggestion about the rollback Roddy... tried it and now it works like a charm, so i guess that it could be a 1.6 problem... Paul, over to you! :) | |

Maybe you could post this as new topic in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem?
