| So, when I make an icon a hyperlink, every so often instead of showing the small blue arrow indicator, it shows blue text that appears over the icon, almost as a replacement for the blue hyperlink indicator. The text says "new link" and sits over the thing I am trying to make a hyperlink. It also distorts the image/icon and warps it. My work around is to delete the image/icon and re-do it as this only happens once in a while. | |

So what's happening is that when you double click the shape it's in "Edit Text" mode. When you press the Enable As hyperlink option it is inserting the default link. If you aren't in "edit text" it will make the actual object a link and show the blue hyperlink indicator. Make sure you haven't double clicked the shape when pressing the Enable as hyperlink option. When a shape is in "edit text" mode it is outlined with a grey border and has a flashing text indicator. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
