I put a blue box behind a "contact us" widget and the widget published but not the blue box. My web background is black so you cant read the fields in the widget.

Hi,

Some files are not being published it looks like. Can you send me your website project file located at;

username/Library/Application Support/easyWeb/

Please compress the file (right click on it and select 'Compress') before you send and include a description of the problem you are having or a link to this forum post.

it fixed itself with the name change of the website. Take a look at http://thebridgeal.org now. On easyweb the "contact us" widget is centered. But look at it on the website. That leads me to another question, I know I used a product/app call hype tumult before to try and build a website. The only problem was that things like shadows, reflection, text placement were all different on different browsers. Is this the same with easy web? Thanks

nevermind, it fixed when it finished uploading. Thanks.

Im trying to upload the full site now with the name changes we talked about in the other post.

I have a question, is it possible that my full site is done incorrectly (too big files) and it is taking 2 hours to upload. If it is normal than thats ok, just asking. sorry to be a pain :?

None of the links in your navigation bar work on that website. Did you publish these within EasyWeb?

Don't worry you are not being a pain, we need to fix these issues. All I ask is you open up new threads for each issue, otherwise helping you solve them will be difficult. It helps keep things more organized for you, us and anyone else having the same issue.

Sometimes you're going to want to empty your cache to see certain changes in your web browser.

In Safari go to Preferences->Advanced and then select 'Show developer menu in menu bar'. Then select Empty Cache from the Develop menu which will now be in the menu bar at the top of your screen and reload your website.

Ok, so my wrist is tired from moving the mouse around to enable upload... LOL. BUT, the full sit looks good and everything is in place like it should be. I havent enabled all the hyperlinks but the navigation bar is functional. I love your product and even more , your customer service. When this launches, I'll let my friends know where to go. Thanks again man. One little detail and Im not sure if its a bug but go to http://thebridgeal.org and click on "get help" in the navigation bar.....the "contact us widget is not where I put it in easy web, it was centered in the box. Otherwise it looks just like I wanted.

Paul, I have a question about the cache thing. In a previous post, you explain how to empty caches which worked well. Here is my question: I have only one website, with two separate projects, one mini, temporary-one page website and one FULL 20 page website that I am working on for when we launch the organization. So, I published the full website today to just see how it looks and test everything out and it didn't look anything like it did in Easyweb. All the fonts were different and the colors were wrong.....it looked pretty stupid. BUT, then I remember that you said to empty the cache in the develop tab. When i did that it looked perfect, exactly like I wanted it, all fonts correct and the right color and all links functioning properly. This may be an amateur question but does everyone that views our website have to empty their cache to see the proper way the website looks? I guess I don't understand what cache is or does. If you could take a minute to enlighten me I would greatly appreciate it man. Thanks :ugeek:

Here's some info from Wikipedia about caches and how to clear them in the various browsers...
