My boss & I really like EW & will be purchasing 2 for 2 computers that are in different houses. We will be working primarily on the same website. In order for both of us to have easy access to the site; do we need to have the same account registered? Or can I buy a copy & he buy a copy & we can both have easy access but can still do our separate sites?

If you guys have a third party web host then yes you can each purchase your own license and work on the same site.
