Hi, I'm building my first website and I have noticed that people could find my site quite easily via Google Search. It's a good outcome, but at the moment my site is under construction and I would like to do my tests and attempts in a more private way. Have you got any hint? Can I use a password in Everweb? Can I exclude my site from Google search? Could I publish my site in a "stealth" mode? Thank you very much, Fabio (Italy) |

The best way is with password protection. You can do this with the EverWeb + Hosting option only though; http://everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/password-protection.html You can also enter this code into the Site Head Code section in the publishing settings screen; To access the Publishing Settings Screen select your website on the left hand side of the EverWeb window above your web page list. <meta name="robots" content="no index"> With the above code it may take a few weeks for your website to be removed from Google though. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
