I had an email from an EverWeb user who presented his website one of these SEO Voodoo sites which criticized the lack of info about the language used. Here's some info about it... The HTML meta tag for language is no longer used in HTML5. It would seem that in HTML 5, the language can be specified… (a) in the doctype declaration like this - <!DOCTYPE html lang="en"> (b) in the opening <html> tag like this - <html lang="en"> It is not possible to add either of the above in EverWeb. Quote from Google… "Google uses only the visible content of your page to determine its language. We don’t use any code-level language information such as lang attributes. You can help Google determine the language correctly by using a single language for content and navigation on each page, and by avoiding side-by-side translations."
