I am using several image galleries on a new site. When they are published clicking on an image does not open a slideshow but opens a new page with that image only. At the moment I don't need those to open as a slideshow so I placed a shape on top of those so people don't accidentally click on photos. But I would like to know why the gallery is not working as it should. On the page called Gallery where I do have a slideshow I am using a Visual Lightbox created gallery. Is it possible that something is overriding the EW gallery? Would love to understand the problem.... Thank you Steve! The ones that are working are not EW galleries. I am talking about series of photos like the Grant Winners on Home page for example... They will not open as a slideshow so I covered them with a transparent object right now...

Steve, I don't think you understood me... I covered them on purpose so that they are NOT clickable... The reason is that when they are they don't open as a slideshow but rather as a page with that photo on it in the corner. This is not a normal behavior. I am hoping Paul can look at the page and tell me whether it is other widgets that are interfering...

Your wow slider is conflicting with EverWeb's image gallery. I can't provide detailed support for third party widgets at this time. I can tell you that you haven't properly pasted the Head code data in the Head Code field. Remove the jquery.js link and the extra head and body tags you put in there.
