| Is there any way to add folders within the assets folder to group images into categories & make it easier to find them? | |

Some of us have been asking this question from day one and I'm sure if it was easy to do it would have been done by now! One lesson I learned a long time ago was to group images by file name. For example, if I create a slideshow with images and thumbs, I would give them sequential file names like… sliderA-1.jpg, sliderA-2.jpg etc sliderA-1t.jpg, slider-A2t.jpg If all these images are dragged into the Assets List at once it's real easy to find them. You can drag images around in the assets list to put them in some sort of order but this would be kind of time consuming if you already have a zillion images in there and the file names don't give you a clue as to what they are. Just because you can drag a rag tag bunch of oversized images with screwed up file names into EW, it doesn't mean to say that you should. The application is smart and can fix most of the mistakes created by doing this but it can't do everything. Here's some info about website images and slideshows. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I would say so. There really isn't any point in importing an image 2400px wide when it's going to end up 480px on the web page.
