A new beta version is available here; http://www.ragesw.com/files/easyweb/EasyWebApril30.zip April 30 (1029) - saving while editing a text object doesn't cause any problems anymore - option to always how scrollbars in preferences - your publishing settings will now be remembered properly - fixed a problem with signing in if your email was entered with capital letters - vertical alignment works again for shapes that aren't rotated - Show Colors menu item under Window menu with keyboard shortcut (shift-command-C) - Publish site option under the File menu - if you change your cPanel password outside of EasyWeb you can now enter it when publishing. You should avoid doing this though - color picker from toolbar works again after updating color once - if you use a directory as the first page in your site, links properly point it it now ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Were you looking into that "Storage Bar" appearing when we first open the App? I have to go to the sight name page to get rid of it. I sent you a screen shot of it. It still does it.

I can't reproduce it but I will see if I can make some improvements there for the next beta.

also, i cant seem to find "enable hyperlink" button, not to be confused with the button that makes something a hyperlink. The button that makes hyperlinks on the site your building so you can test them out. I enabled some text and tried to hover over with the mouse but it didnt change to the color I specified, unless the links are just always inactive on this software.

To preview any mouse over affects like hyperlinks as well as the slide show you will have to publish to a folder. We're working in that thought.

I've down loaded this version and the scroll bars have disappeared. The only way I can get the page to move is to add in a fake text box and take it to the edges so the page moves. Also in regard to the text boxes I don't really like the way the box disappears when its moving. edit: I found the "show layout" function in window that solve the moving text box disappearing act. |

Show scrollbars is in the preferences. If you have a scrolling mouse, or a magic mouse, the bars will appear automatically when you use that function. Use the Window Menu/Show Layout (Shift/Command/L). Its the same command as in iWeb. Showing the layout helps to position objects in relation to each other and the new page edge guides are a big plus. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! What do you mean the text box disappears? The textbox shouldn't be disappearing. Can you send a screen recording of what you see to ragesw@ragesw.com You can use QuickTime. Go to File menu->record screen. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
