I'd like to be able to create online forms using something integrated into EverWeb, such as membership application or event registration forms, that visitors can fill out and upon completion, the form would be emailed to a specified email address(s). Thank you. -Tod |

You can use third party forms right now to accomplish this easily such as jotform or foxyform We have a video tutorial for using FoxyForm with EverWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I second this post. Ive tried Foxyform but it's very basic. I'd love to see better form options available within Everweb including drop down options. Joel. |

Have a look at Wufoo and JotForm.

I would second this post as well. Even though there may be external options, a form is as basic as it can get for a website and seeing the internals of the Contact widget ( which is very very limited ) it shouldn't be too hard to create something that will allow us to at least add some extra fields, name them like we do with the contact form and allow these fields to be entered into the form. With external parties you often have to pay extra or have isssues with getting the form to send the mails to you as I have encountered with jotform. It's all fixed now, but it's an extra hassle that's not needed. |

What extra fields - apart from the subject line of course - would you suggest?

Roddy, What would be nice if there was some method where some generic text-fields can be added. Maybe in such a way that one can tick a box in front of the fields one wants to add and enter the number of those fields needed. If the fields are the generated by javascript or similar with names like: text_1, text_2, DropDown_1, DropDown_2, etc ? That way the forms can be more usable. Maybe I am out on a limb here but that's my thoughts on it. Hope you get what I mean ;) Regards, Peter |

The EverWeb contact form is just what it says - for contact info. As such, it does the job well since a contact form only requires fields for name, email address, subject line and, in some cases, comments. The one item missing is the subject line of the visitors reply which I attempted to address in this topic… https://billing.ragesw.com/forum.php?act=thread&tid=2784 I think the default CF is very good and easy to implement - with perhaps the addition of the subject and a few styling options. Perhaps someday, someone will create more form widgets for such things as application, membership registration, ordering double glazed windows and so on... ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
