1. In its current form, if the "Include page in navigation menu" is selected, EverWeb also includes that link on its own page, i.e., a home page link will appear on the home page—not necessary and poor design. How do I remove the redundant link? |

I would disagree that this is bad design because changing the navigation of your website depending on the page can get confusing for visitors. I've never seen a website that does this, or I just can't recall one now. If you do want to do this, you would have to create your own navigation bar for each page. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| At the very least you need the menu item to have an additional formatting option of changed color or other to indicate which page you are on. | |

I don't think I have ever seen a navigation which doesn't include the current page either. While you can add a current class to the navigation HTML, it has to be done on a page by page basis and is very time consuming. Larger sites use breadcrumb trails to help visitors realise where they are and to allow them to back track more easily. These are usually only required on sites with three or more levels. The primary clue that you would provide for visitors as to what page they are on is the <h2> heading. This needs to be descriptive of the page and its content both for human visitors and the SE spiders. Read more about this HERE.
