Having problems making a navigation bar on two lines, either I make my own and when published and viewed in 'chrome' (see pic of snapshot) the text ends up on the next line (and doesn't when viewed in everweb). Also tried to use widget in everweb but only really good for one line. I don't remember having any problems doing this in iWeb which I am still using while i am getting used to ever web. www.victorianpine.com iweb website with navigation bar working fine. Hope I have explained this well enough & any comments or advice would be much appreciated. |

I would recommend that any website with more than a dozen pages should use directories. Note how the navigation on the above page has twelve items in the navigation without it forcing a return. Each directory can have up to 15 or 16 pages without the drop down running off the screen on laptops. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Quote: I wanted to avoid using drop down menus I wonder why? Most iWeb users with larger websites were desperate for them! A website like yours is a lot easier to navigate if products are grouped into categories using a drop down. You can make an iWeb style menu using the text box method if you want. Just create it on a master page so that it is a lot easier to update when you add more pages. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
