I have a website which uses an image slider on the index page. When the site is loading (Safari 7.0.3) or on an iPad (iOS 7.1.1) a photo flashes up large from the image slider set that I have added in, then the screen clears and the website displays properly. This behaviour is not exhibited in Firefox 25.0.1, which loads directly without the a photo flashing up first. www.wellnl.com Any ideas? Thanks Simon |

Hi Simon, I don't see this issue when I visit your site. But it could happen if you have an image with a really large file size in your image slider. See if you can reduce the size of the images in your image slider. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Thanks Paul. yes the images are quite large and get quite "squashed" in the slider effect. I'll trim the files down and try again and will let you know the results. | |
