Viewing Add image to Assets
Add image to Assets

While trying out text wrap around an image in an HTML Widget I find that I can't add the image. When I try to add it to "Assets" I get the crash that is reported elsewhere in this forum. When I add it to the list of images, the image doesn't appear anywhere in the published folder - at least not that I can see! I worked around this by adding it to the published files but that means that I don't get a preview in EasyWeb. Is this something to do with the fact that EasyWeb inserts images as a div background rather than using a regular image tag? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! So the image won't be published if it isn't used in any shape. We really need to find out why these crashes happen for you. If you can consistently reproduce them, let me know. I am not able to yet. This is the more serious issue. EasyWeb uses div's instead of images because of the text overlay that every shape can have. We are thinking of having an optimization that if the shape has no text we will use the img tag. It's too late in the beta phase to make that changed but we will look into it for version 1.1. This problem though is unrelated to that. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

It is constant. When I drag an image onto the section with all the other images its OK. The image name appears in the list but it doesn't get added to the published folder anywhere is all. When I drag an image - or any other type of file or folder - into the Assets part that's when the problem starts. Maybe I should trash the app with all its associated files and reinstall? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! No don't re-install. Send a video of the crash to me. Maybe there is something I am missing. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Sorry about the delay but EW announces the impending crash in two different ways and it took me quite a few attempts to capture both. I have emailed a link for a zip download to "ragesw@gmail.com" ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
