How do I add self-hosted webfonts ?

User: Patrick C. 9 years ago
Thank you so much Roddy. Proud I could rely on a fellow Scot to supply the engineering solution to this one :) I literally spent hours yesterday trying to find that code and could not understand why it was not in the AAi article...

Hey Roddy, quick question if you don't mind...The font file I'm using is in the dfont format. Will I have to convert it to ttf?

Convert font file types for free.

Got it, Thanks.

Wondering... If the fonts you create are only used as text, and don't have links, can you use the "save text as image" feature? That would be easy (or does Everweb not save unrecognizable font?).

If you chose to save text as image, will you have text to be indexed by search bots?

EverWeb saves whatever you see as an image with this setting on.

I followed your instructions and it worked for the text in the body of the site but the text in the header and footer became became underlined and changed. Any ideas on how to fix this? The site is GoldieRush.com. I've removed the code and put it back how it was now but can paste it in and publish again if that makes it easier to figure it out? Thanks, Patrick ps I'm not using Everweb navigation menu and have created my own.

Yes, it does. Solving a problem without knowing what the problem is, has never been my strongest skill.

Hi Roddy, I followed your instructions and the fonts seem to be fine everywhere but internet explorer. Is there something else I need to add? These are the sites I'm working on http://goldierush.com and http://reachoot.com/amylawday/ Thanks, Patrick

Can you post in THIS TOPIC and let me know what file formats you have uploaded for each font?
