I'm having trouble when publishing my site to my ftp server. I previously used iWeb SEO Tools to publish my iWeb site, but now I'm trying to just publish with everweb. Unfortunately, when I publish with EverWeb, it publishes to a subdirectory instead of just the main domain. I'm attaching a screenshot of when I used, and I've tried publishing both with the directory path, as I do on iWeb SEO tools, and without the directory path, and neither publishes without a sub-directory. Any advice? I would prefer to not have to publish to a folder then publish again with iWeb SEO tools each time I make a change. From the Publish to drop down menu are you able to select 'EverWeb'. If so is there something entered in the Subdirectory field there? If there is remove it. This is a bug that is fixed in the next version. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

What gives you the impression it is publishing to a sub directory? I just checked your site and it appears to be publishing just fine...

Because of this: http://www.maryvilleflorist.com/Flowers%20and%20Such/index.html That is why my published site ends up when I publish using EverWeb. The reason you can see my site at http://maryvilleflorist.com is because I am publishing to a folder, then using iWeb SEO Tools to publish it, instead of EverWeb. ------------------------------- Flowers and Such |

I'm not sure how you're doing that, but the same site is being publish to the root as well.

The same site is only being published to the root because I am publishing to folder, then opening that folder with a different program, and publishing that folder with the other program. When I publish with EverWeb, it only publishes to that subdirectory.

I'm not sure. Can you contact your web hosting provider to see if they can provide any clue. EverWeb will only publish to where you tell it to publish. I'm sorry I cannot provide more help here. IF you were using the EverWeb publishing solution I would be able to help your further but without access to your server, I cannot know what the issue is. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
