Facebook button

I noticed that there is Facebook "Like" button but not a Facebook button to link to a FB page. That would be very helpful....

I notice that the button doesn't look too smart on a dark background...

Note the white corners.

Go to the inspector-> Shape options and change the shape to "default" under the dropdown menu.

Will make sure this happens automatically for the next release.

Thanks for letting us know.

I see now.

What exactly does "Default" mean when applied to a shape?

Each shape type (rectangle, round rect etc...) will mask images with that shape type. Default will use the mask of the actual picture.

The mask property of a shape allows it to have the transparency.

OK, I see. I'm used to doing stuff like masking outside of the web design app.

Does masking an image with a shape increase the file size appreciably?

No, I wouldn't worry about doing that.

There should be no difference between making the image within EasyWeb vs outside EasyWeb (that's the intention anyways, if you find differently, let me know).
