| ok lets say you want to replace project files on machine to what is on the server. Do I use c-panel to download files and then replace the file in computer (option key) / library / app support / EW folder? should I download with FTP instead. can I send them directly to above mention folder and just say replace. will they still have their EW file names? | |

The EverWeb project file is a proprietary format so you cannot replace it with published files - or anything else for that matter! | hey thanks . but if you FTP, EW project files as EW project files and download them into EW folder all is well eh? kinda like dropbox? | |

If you are referring to a project file with the extension .everweb then that's OK.
