Subtle font weight different in iWeb? What gives?

This is weird. All of my fonts in EverWeb seem to be slightly less weight than the same text in iWeb. It's somewhat subtle - I had to do a double take a few times - but it does make a difference. I'm wondering if there's any explanation for it. I've checked the fonts, and in the Fonts window they are identical. I do prefer the thicker, richer looking text the way it appears in iWeb. I think it's pretty blatant when you look at the screenshots. I noticed the same, thinner fonts when I tried Adobe Muse for a short time. I thought maybe it's the kerning, but if you look closely, it actually looks like the iWeb ones have a higher color saturation -- deeper. Last edit 12 years ago |
